The number two in my books has always stood for Fairness, Stability, Security & Balance.
And when you share anything fairly into two what you have is always equal.
This is the principle that works wonders in any home business venture that is going to be successful in today’s 'ever-changing' world.
Having your very own home business is an absolute must today. Something built around what you are passionate about, something you love doing without inhibition, something you love so much you no longer consider it work but rather play.That’s the new way for today.Why? Well look around yourself and be the judge. Times have moved on.What used to be is no more.The world has changed dramatically to say the least, and it’s still changing each and everyday to the point that even governments and big business
don’t seem to have the answers to the problems anymore.
Times have definitely changed for a fact and putting your livelihood and that of your loved ones in the hands of somebody else is not just wise. And it doesn’t matter whether it’s a Small, Medium or a Big sized business. Job security just no longer exists, robust pay structures are on the decline with the mass introduction of all sorts of stupid contracts that make no sense or what do ‘zero hour’ contracts mean for goodness sake, not to mention high living expenses, commutting hassles to and from work, boss stresses at work, office politics,etc and I could go on and on.The list is endless.To put it in other words let’s just say in a nutshell working for anybody else other than yourself carries a whole lot of uncertainties and insecurities for your financial fulfillment over the long term.
I am sure you understand what it is I am talking about.
That’s why you must take the leap before you are pushed overboard at your work place and start some sort of home business of your own, and when you do decide it’s time, make sure you have the full support of a spouse, partner or good mentor to help you through it all.
Take me for example, The year was 2004, the month December.
I just felt very strongly that there was so much more in store for me outside the confines of my job.
I had been working for my employer, a major international conglomerate for seven years at the time jumping on planes criss-crossing the globe
almost every single week so much so I almost didn’t know where my body was most of the time because of the frequent jet lag and time zone changes.
Yes it was great living the life, jetting around the globe to exotic destinations,meeting the movers and shakers of my industry,dining out,having the finest cuisines,and all the other fine perks that come with it.
Don't get me wrong it was great in the begining just like every job is, at the first, but believe me you after a while my heart wasn't in it anymore.It was always at home with my very young family.
I remember 9-11 so very clearly! I was in Calcutta India in a lovely 5 star hotel sick with food poisoning, I guess I had eaten too much curry the night before.You should have seen me. Can you imagine, because I liked the room service order very much and expressed it, they sent me up another full complimentary order and of course I couldn't let it go to waste could I?.After al I am a big six footer of a man :)
Anyway . .
The very next day I couldn't get out of bed and my office had to arrange a medical doctor to come see me at the hotel.It was terrible.He said I was not able to leave India for at least another couple of days and that's when the twin towers were hit; I watched it live on CNN and just imagine how I felt that day for all the people in the two towers and all of their family members (lying on a sick bed myself).I honestly thought the world was about to end that day and that was the day I made up my mind I am leaving the corporate world to spend quality time with my family while working out of the comfort of my own four walls.
And as if that was not enough, when I got back to the head office in London I walked into the office one day to see my line manager about certain developments that had arisen within my team only to see on his computer a set date, when I was deemed to be let go.I couldn’t believe my eyes.The company already had a set date in the future when they were going to push me overboard unknown to me.I guess all companies have that but this just freaked me out.
So I was faced with the tough decision of whether to leave my then employer and go it alone one more time, or just carry on living the just over broke (J.O.B) lifestyle with no certainty for the future till my already set lay-off date. Well! you guessed right and while I don’t want to bore you with all the details, I took the plunge and I have never looked back since.And need I say with my beautiful wife beside me every step of the way, I really and truly Thank GOD for that day.
Since then I have been generating alternative income streams right out of my very own four walls with complete time & financial freedom for myself and all my family included.It’s been a truly amazing experience difficult to explain in a few words but trust me it’s almost like living in another world entirely.It’s like another wavelength of living altogether.
But honestly I couldn’t have done it alone and that’s why I always say two are always better than one anyday, anytime, anywhere
and for any purpose and most especially when it comes to starting and building a successful home business.
We All Need Someone That's
Been There | Done That |Got The T-Shirt
Rooting For Us In Our Corner
So If you find yourself in the same position I was in back in 2004 stuck in a rut and need some help kick-starting your own home business and maybe you don’t have a partner who understands the B.I.G picture of your future, then the next best thing is to get a mentor or coach to help see you through.
It will shave years off of your learning curve and save a lot of hassle over all.Or in other words it will cut short the distance between where you are now and where you really want to be for real.
So To Answer The Question
YOU GUESSED IT RIGHT!
* * * * * * * * Two Are Better Than One;
Because They Have A Good Reward For Their Labour.
For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow: but woe to him that is alone when he falleth;
for he hath not another to help him up.
11 Again, if two lie together, then they have heat: but how can one be warm alone?
12 And if one prevail against him, two shall withstand him; and a threefold cord is not quickly broken.
